As you may know, we have been working for the past dozen or more years on building Minerva House, a dwelling to house a number of scholars researching brain function. We have just purchased a big Victorian building in downtown Berkeley near the university campus which has a maximum of 12 apartments. It is called Minerva House West.

Minerva House West will be available for scholars in our field, particularly postdoctoral for limited periods, and for others such as participants in our public lectures at the University of California Berkeley. It will also be available on a space available basis to Golden Brains and advanced pre-doctoral students. Application information will be available on a new website to be posted in the year future.

The original plan for Minerva House was completed, but turned out to cost about twice as much as our available resources. We have the architectural drawings and have put it in abeyance until our financial situation is able to take care of it, presumably within the next decade.
